  • Carlico International Group Holdings Co., Ltd. (“Carlico”) was incorporated in Hong Kong. Over the past 16 years, with the joint efforts of shareholders and staff, Carlico has become one of the major bottled wine importers in China run by foreign owner. The name CARLICO is composed of the first letters of seven English words, namely Commitment, Aspirations, Resourceful, Local, International, Consumer-oriented, and Originality. These seven words comprise a strong cultural heritage and are the business philosophy and principles that Carlico has followed since its inception. The group is headquartered in Hong Kong, has a national operating headquarters in Shenzhen, and has branches in major cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, building a multi-platform collaborative sales system consisting of dealers, direct sales, and online shopping. Carlico, as an agent of Chateau Lagarosse in Bordeaux, supplies high-quality Bordeaux chateau wine in mainland, Hong Kong and Macau of China.

    Carlico mainly sells high-quality imported bottled wines and liquors in mainland China (through its PRC subsidiaries), Hong Kong and Macau, including branded and luxurious wines, mainly originated from new and old wine worlds such as France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Canada, Chile and Argentina, among which more than 80% are produced in France. The company's wine products are divided into popular and luxurious wines. The former is mainly branded wine with high quality-to-price ratio, including "Carlico" branded wine; the latter is mainly targeted at VIP customers with high spending power, and its products include Bordeaux-grade Chateau Lagarosse, old wine La Coume du Roy, Armagnac Tariquet, Canadian ice wine as well as Robert Parker wines of scores 90+ points and other high-end wines.

    The group has an experienced and sophisticated sales and management team. By 2012, it has established a sales network covering nearly 30 provinces, cities and regions in China, and more than 100 large and medium-sized cities, including Hong Kong and Macau. Since 2007, leveraging from geographical advantages of the group in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Caofeidian free trade zones, external connections and operations of the Hong Kong headquarters, diversified marketing tactics and the logistics radiation capabilities of the group’s branches / business organizations, the group provides most efficient and value-added business elements for its customers. With its strong capital advantages and talents, the group quickly established diversified sales channels, including branches, distributors, individual and enterprise direct retailing, online sales, franchised stores, wine & coffee house, international wine clubs, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, etc.

    At the beginning of 2012, Carlico proposed "Real French Wine" as the company's core business philosophy, and further regulated the wine market by devising an industry standard towards authenticated wine. At the same time, Carlico launched the Carlico mobile app, which integrates company news, product information, authenticity, red wine culture, video into one app. The app not only provides consumers with rich information, but also protects the legitimate rights of consumers and hence promotes competitiveness.

    After 2012, in view of the changes in the consumption pattern of public expenditure in China, Carlico began to shift to an online business model, parallel to its offline wine sales. In the mainland China, Carlico has set up a "POP" store on JD.com platform since July 2018 and its products have entered the "JD self-operated store" since December 2018. It also opened a flagship store in Pinduoduo.com in 2020. Those online flagship stores had been operated till 2023. Then Carlico focuses on distribution, wholesale and retail channels. In Hong Kong, Carlico opened a flagship store with HKTV Mall online platform and stationed our branded wine including Chateau Lagarosse, Carlico Comteu series and French cocktails to be sold in Big Big Shop, an online channel of Television Broadcast which is one of 3 licensed free HK television operators in Hong Kong. With regard to offline business, Carlico has also established sales channels with its Hong Kong distributor GenWine (with its website Genwine.co), Macau chain restaurant operators and mainland distributors such as Shenzhen Sophy Wine, Langxi Yacht Club, and Overseas Sourcing Division of Xinhai Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. Our business faces the mainland, Hong Kong, Macau of China and overseas. We display and sell original imported bottled wine products of all suppliers online.

    In 2023, Carlico cooperates with Shenzhen Xu Beihong Culture and Art Center to co-launch the "Xu Beihong Wine Painting Set". The exquisite set contains twin bottles of Chateau Lagarosse 2011 and a unique certificate.

    Since 2007, Carlico Group has invested a lot of human resources and capital to build its brand through 16 years. So far, Carlico has registered a total of 70 corporate and product trademarks in China (including Hong Kong), France and the European Union. Carlico has advertised in various domestic media platforms such as Hong Kong Asia Television (“ATV”), U Radio of Shenzhen Phoenix Satellite TV, in-vehicle videos broadcast in Kuaike Channel of CCTV Mobile Media covering more than 30,000 passenger cross-country buses, print media such as "New Food", "Wine & Spirits", "Alcohol Sea Navigation", "Enterprise Today", and promoted its brand in various activities such as participating in sugar and wine fairs, organizing wine tasting tours, in-depth tours of French chateaux, and hiring French brand ambassadors. In 2008, Carlico also sponsored Hong Kong ATV's wine used in "Miss Asia Pageant Finals Night". In 2009, it filmed 18 episodes of the TV program "Mode de Vie Noble" which was broadcast on both Hong Kong ATV and Hunan Digital TV in the mainland China. Carlico held the “Carlico International Fine Wine Auction” in 2010 and participated in the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Expo in 2011. It launched "Lan Kwai Fong" branded wine in cooperation with Hong Kong's international leisure brand "Lan Kwai Fong" in 2012. Through promotions in “Hong Kong Economic Times" and " China Daily” English edition and other print media, Carlico has created a well-known Chinese and international brand "Carlico".

    In the past 16 years, Carlico has been awarded Guangzhou Famous Trademark (2012-18), Food Safety Demonstration Store, Grade A Taxpayer, Guangdong Contract-abiding and Credit-honoring Enterprise for three consecutive years starting from 2012-14, and was also selected as " Vice President of China Liquor Circulation Association" and "First Chairman of Imported Wine Chamber of Commerce in Guangzhou Free Trade Zone". Carlico wine was also designated by Bank of China and China Merchants Bank as wine used for promotional activities. In 2014, it was awarded "2013 China's Wine Market Annual Value Innovation Brand" and "2013 Best Model Innovation Enterprise" by the China Wine Market White Paper Conference sponsored by the China Food Industry Association Grape & Fruit Wine Experts Committee and China Wine College of Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University. In 2012, Carlico was also awarded as "Excellent No. 1 China Imported Wine Merchant" in the wine and beverage category in the "Hong Kong Enterprise Leader Brands 2012" competition held by Hong Kong Metro Radio. Since 2010, it has also become the designated partner for mortgage and private banking departments of large banks in Hong Kong.
